I did a lot of growing up under the watchful eye of Mrs. Berry. Although she could be as tough as nails at times…who wouldn’t be with 4 boys. She was tough when she needed to be and gentle and kind like any mom. She had a great sense of humor, and a bit mischevious and I remember one time coming home with a hickey on my neck from a girl, and she laughed but when she realized that I was nervous about what my parents would say, she immediately directed me to the bathroom and told me to rub toothpaste on it. Well, I probably don’t need to tell you just how funny that was when I realized that the toothpaste just made it worse. My entire neck was red and when I came out of the bathroom…there she stood with Mike, Jeff and Kenny laughing so hard. I had no choice but to laugh myself.
So many stories and life experiences. I will miss you mom, and as long as I live will never forget you and the impact you had on me. Rest in peace!

I had the best mother in the world. She was always there for me with wonderful advice and a good laugh. I am so glad that she made it to see me get married and raise children. I also want to say to my favorite fishing buddy, “Mom I hope you catch a big one in heaven.” God just got another Angel.
